Episode 24 - Fish, No Chips, Befuddled Disciples

EPISODE SUMMARY

In this week's episode, I recount the two feeding stories in the Gospel of Mark. As always, their analysis is not as straightforward as we might think.

EPISODE NOTES

In today's episode, I'm going to be discussing a story many of you already know. Maybe you've studied it countless times in Sunday school, or maybe you've heard way too many sermons on it at your church.

However, like always, I will be putting a spin on it. After all, more often than not, these Bible stories are not as straightforward as we think.

What story am I talking about?

Well, in today's episode of The Bible You Thought You Knew, I will be recounting the two feeding tales of large crowds in the Gospel of Mark.

The first story goes like this: While stuck in the wilderness with a hungry crowd of over five thousand people, Jesus was able to bless some bread and fish and turn it into a feast for the weary travelers.

However, the second story was a bit different.

How so?

If you want to find out, grab a cup of tea, have a seat, and give us a listen!
